Alright, folks! We’re officially diving deep into the Honda motorcycle rabbit hole by taking a look at the Honda Click 160.

If you caught my last article about the Honda BeAT, then you know I’ve been on a journey exploring two-wheeled machines that make sense for everyday riders.

And even though I’m a Yamaha fan through and through (having owned a Yamaha XS Special 650cc and Yamaha YTX 125), I have to admit—Honda has been making some serious moves with their scooters.

Which brings us to the Honda Click 160—a scooter that has been turning heads and proving itself as a reliable, stylish, and practical ride for urban commuters.

And since we’re here, we’ll also take a look at its smaller siblings, the Honda Click 125 and the New Click 125 (Special Edition), because why not?

The Honda Click 160: Why It’s Worth Considering

Power and Performance

The Honda Click 160 is powered by a 157cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, eSP+ engine that delivers 11.3 kW at 8,500 rpm and 13.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.

Now, let me break that down in simpler terms: it’s got enough oomph to zip through city traffic, confidently overtake slower vehicles, and even cruise comfortably on open roads.

So, whether you’re using it for daily commutes or occasional long rides, it has just the right amount of power without being intimidating.

Honda also did a great job in the fuel efficiency department.

With their PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) system, the Click 160 manages to sip fuel while still giving you solid performance.

You’re looking at an estimated fuel consumption of around 47 km/L, which means fewer trips to the gas station—something we all love, especially with fuel prices these days!

Undeniable Modern and Sporty Design

If you’re after a sleek and aggressive-looking scooter, the Click 160 has got you covered.

Honda gave it a more muscular and sharper aesthetic, making it look more like a premium maxi-scooter than just another commuter bike.

Key Design Features:

  • LED headlights and taillights for a futuristic and premium look.
  • Fully digital instrument panel that’s clear and easy to read.
  • 14-inch wheels with wider tires for improved stability and road grip.
  • Spacious under-seat storage (18L) that can fit a full-face helmet.
  • Sporty stepped seat for added comfort on long rides.

Available Colors:

  • Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic
  • Matte Solar Red Metallic
  • Matte Cosmo Silver Metallic

One thing I can say is that Honda definitely nailed it with this design. It’s sporty, sleek, and modern— something that will definitely make it a head-turner in traffic.

Ride Comfort and Handling

The Click 160 doesn’t just look good—it also rides smoothly. Thanks to its Telescopic Fork (front) and Unit Swing (rear) suspension, it absorbs bumps well, making city riding comfortable. if it still feels too rigid, just adjust the suspension system to have a softer feel.

Another bonus is the seat height of 778mm, which is low enough for most Filipino riders. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, you’ll feel confident handling this scooter.

If you still feel that it’s matagtag, you can have the seat reupholstered to make it softer.

And let’s not forget the CBS (Combi Brake System), which distributes braking force to both the front and rear wheels, making braking safer and more balanced. FYI the front has disc brakes and the rear is equipped with drumbrakes.

Stopping shouldn’t be a problem even if you need to do it quickly in an emergency situation.

Needless to say, ride safe and don’t speed up too much if you odn’t really need to or if you’re not that fully confident or fully in control of your vehicle.
